From stunning paintings to unique coasters and wall hangings, she creates one-of-a-kind pieces. Her commitment to sustainability shines through in her jewelry, crafted from repurposed paint to minimize waste. Emily is honored to serve as Artist in Residence at WORK_SPACE, where she looks forward to contributing to the creative community and exploring new artistic possibilities in the thriving town of Manchester.

    Susan Barlow has served as Manchester’s official and acting Town Historian since 2015. She leads history walks, conducts research, manages the Historical Society’s website and Facebook pages, and produces a weekly history e-newsletter. Susan also serves on the Cheney Brothers National Historic District Commission and has been deeply involved in preserving and sharing Manchester’s history through her many roles with the Historical Society. She believes that through education and preservation, the community can better appreciate the town’s rich past and present. In 2025, Susan will be inducted into the Manchester Art & Culture Hall of Fame.

    Dr. Stacey Zackin has managed WORK_SPACE, Manchester’s Coworking, Meeting & Gallery Space, since 2017. A graduate of Manchester’s public schools, she has helped shape WORK_SPACE into a center for creativity, collaboration, and community. As part of the team that established Manchester’s Cultural District, she fosters cross-sector partnerships that inspire civic engagement and local pride. With advanced degrees in film, social work, and depth psychology, and over two decades as a certified coach, Dr. Zackin integrates strategic thinking, creativity, and values-based leadership into her work and community impact.

    Nadia Sims is a Manchester-based poet and spoken word artist whose mission is grace. A Princeton graduate, she is the author of A Soft Place to Land and We Know the Dark, and released a spoken word album in 2023. In March 2024, she was appointed Poet Laureate of Manchester. Inspired by James Baldwin, June Jordan, and Maya Angelou, Nadia shares her message of self-forgiveness and mental health awareness through performances across CT, NY, and MA, and is currently working on her third book while bringing more open mics and poetic events to the community.

    Victoria Dubiel

    Victoria Dubiel has lived in Manchester since 2001. Obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene, Victoria held licenses in three states. In 1969-1970, she attended Wroxton College in Wroxton, England, experienced Europe, and later revisited England. In 1979, Victoria moved to California and joined the Indian Health Service assisting the Native American Community. All forms of art, the spoken and written word, acting, and horses have been part of her personal and professional life. Victoria is a notetaker for disabled students with Manchester Community College and is a member of the Wit & Wisdom Poetry Club and the Manchester Art Association.
