Manchester NEXT Public Hearing Scheduled for June 21st, 2023
A final draft of Manchester NEXT, the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD), is now available. The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 21, 2023, at 7:00 P.M., both virtually and in person in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, 494 Main Street, Manchester, Connecticut, to hear and consider the adoption of the proposed update to the POCD.

The Town of Manchester Planning and Economic Development Department conducted a public comment period for the draft plan between February 15 – March 15, 2023. The Planning and Zoning Commission had the opportunity to review the public comments received along with a summary during the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting that took place on Monday, April 3rd, 2023(External link). The Planning and Economic Development Department submitted recommended revisions to the Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative (TPUDC) consultant team and those revisions were applied, resulting in the final draft plan. A Public Notice outlining the details of attending the public hearing and submitting comments will be available not less than ten days before the scheduled public hearing.
