It’s Time to plan for the future of Manchester!

Manchester Next is the Town of Manchester’s Plan of Conservation and Development update process. The Town has hired a multidisciplinary team of planning consultants led by Town Planning and Urban Design Collaborative, LLC (TPUDC) to engage the community in a public planning process that will culminate in the adoption of a new Plan of Conservation and Development. The community has had many opportunities to get engaged and participate in the process.

What is a Plan of Conservation and Development?

A Plan of Conservation and Development is a long-range policy document that establishes the vision and goals for how the Town wants to continue to grow over the next 10 years. The POCD will be used to help guide and improve livability, economics, mobility, recreation, employment, housing, and resilience throughout the Town. Through this process, the community will inform the vision and goals for the future. The Town hopes to hear from as many residents as possible. The goal is that this POCD will be a plan for everyone.

    Please join us for our Community Kickoff event for the Manchester Next - Plan of Conservation and Development Update process. We will provide an overview of the process, begin the discussion for the long-term vision of the Town and answer questions. The event will be held in person and virtually.
