  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded. Thank you to everyone who has participated!

Thank you for your interest in filling out our survey! We really appreciate it. This survey is for you to tell us about the challenges you are experiencing in Manchester and what you would like to see these schools transformed into.

You will notice that the survey starts with whether or not you would like to fill out the survey entirely anonymously, or if you would like to have your name included in the report. Followed by demographics, and lastly some equestions about your thouts for repurposing the schools.

During the survey creation process we discussed with the town the need for demographics to be captured to better understand how needs and ideas might be different depending on race, gender, orientation, income, etc. These are critical to ensure that voices from all backgrounds that are in Manchester are represented and to see if there are large differences showing up in the data. For example: if all participants with a household income over $150K a year say that affordable housing is not needed, but everyone making less that $50K say they are needed we can see clear patterns developing. The other demographics allow us to go deeper and deeper into specific community needs, while capturing the larger Manchester needs. For example: If cis individuals (individuals who identify with their assigned gender at birth) do not bring up access to health as a priority, but all trans individuals do we want to be able to reflect these differences in the report. Identifying these needs is a critical part of capturing the ideas that the communty has for repurposing the schools.

To ensure privacy and confidentiality, individuals are able to not include their name, email, phone number, or any other identifying information in the survey. Further, if individuals include their name for the raffle, they are able to pick the option to not have their name publicly included. This data is only managed by our team members who do not live in Manchester to ensure that confidentiality.

Lastly, the survey is one of many ways to have your voice heard, and the only one that captures detailed demographics. You are welcome to text us ideas, submit ideas through your voice matters, come to one of our coffee hours, one of our events, at an event we will be canvasing, or reach out directly to us to have a conversation.

We appreciate your time in contributing to this process.
